PhD Fellowship Opportunity: RADIO-TB Trial

The RADIO-TB trial invites applications for a PhD fellowship aimed at identifying the optimal management of radiographically apparent, bacteriologically unconfirmed TB found through active case finding. The project will focus on collecting empirical cost data and conducting mathematical modelling of epidemiological impact and cost-effectiveness.

PhD in Epidemiology (Ref: RADIO-TB)

Aim:

• Quantify the epidemiological impact and cost-effectiveness of treatment for radiographically apparent, bacteriologically unconfirmed TB.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

• MSc in Epidemiology, Public Health, or Health Economics.

• Strong quantitative skills.

• Desirable: Experience in field data collection research and tuberculosis research.
